The Park Spark Project
Matthew Mazzotta is a conceptual artist who creates participatory public interventions. His work has evolved from his interest in exploring the relationship between people and their environments. Matthew aims at bringing criticality and a sense of openness and possibility, to the places we live. He creates space for dialogues around issues of “Becoming”- understanding that there is much more than our surroundings give us credit to “Be”. His objects, situations, and spaces ask us to relate to each other in unfamiliar ways in hopes of finding new perspectives on how we see ourselves in this world. Graduate of the School of Art Institute of Chicago, and holds a Master of Science in Visual Studies from MIT. To see Matthew's work
